IN the pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 2202/IX-1–2022- 48 T.A.-20, dated August 5, 2022 :

Dated Lucknow, August 5, 2022

WHEREAS notification no. 1781/IX-1–2020-48T.A.-20, dated December 12, 2020 was issued and published in Gazette with a view to invite objections and suggestions for specifying the area mentioned in the Schedule below as transitional area for constituting Nagar Panchayat Nigohi in district Shahjahanpur as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. II of 1916) ;

AND, WHEREAS, no objection and suggestion has been received within the stipulated time;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) and in partial modification of notification no. 2867/IX-1–2019-35T.A.-18, dated December 31, 2019 and other previous notifications issued in this behalf, the governor having regard to the population of the area, the density of the Population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities, the economic importance and such other factors is pleased to include the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Nigohi in district Shahjahanpur for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution.
