WHEREAS notification no. 1523/IX-1–2020-34T.A.-2020, dated December 10, 2020 was issued and published in the Gazette on the same date with a view to invite objections and suggestions from the general public with respect to the inclusion of the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Khaga in district Fatehpur as required by section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U. P. Act no. II of 1916) ;
AND, WHEREAS, objections and suggestions received in pursuance of the said notification were disposed of vide Government order no. 1503/IX-1–2022-34T.A.-20, dated June 9, 2022;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U. P. Act no. II of 1916) and in partial modification of notification no. 3005/IX-75-T, dated December 8, 1926 published in Part-III of the Government Gazette of the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh dated December 11, 1926, and other previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor, having regard to the population of the area, the density of the population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities and the economic importance is pleased to include the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Khaga in district Fatehpur for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India.
