AND, WHEREAS, objections and suggestions received in pursuance of the said notification were disposed of vide Government order no. 1481/IX-1–2022-56T.A.-20, dated June 10, 2022;

AND, WHEREAS, final notification in respect of the same was published in the Gazette vide notification no. 2038/IX-1–2022-56T.A.-20, dated July 22, 2022;

AND, WHEREAS, there have been certain typographical errors in the Schedule of notification no.2038/IX-1–2022-56T.A.-20, dated July 22, 2022;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exericise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) and in supersession of notification no.2038/IX-1–2022-56T.A.-20, dated July 22, 2022, expect as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, and in partial modification of notification no. 205(ka) Muarikha, dated March 16, 1875 and other previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor, having regard to the population of the area, the density of the population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities and the economic importance, is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Badhalganj in district Gorakhpur for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India.
