IN pursuance of the provision of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 908/IX-2–2022-12 (Seema Vistar)-2022, dated September 7, 2022 for general information:

THE following draft notification, which the Governor proposes to issue in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") for including the areas specified in Schedule-I below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly is hereby published for information to all concerned and with a view to invite objections and suggestions in respect thereof as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the aforesaid Act.
mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 7 flrEcj] 2022 3Objections and suggestions, if any, with respect to the proposed notification should be sent in writing addressed to the Pramukh Sachiv, Nagar Vikas Anubhag-2, Uttar Pradesh Shasan, Babu Bhawan, Lucknow. Only those objections and suggestions which are received within seven days from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette shall be taken into consideration.
Draft Notification
In exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916), the Governor, having regard to the population of the area, the density of the population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities, the economic importance and such other factors, is pleased to include the area specified in Schedule-I below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule-II below shall be the territorial area of the said Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.

Area being included in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly:-
EAST -
Village Yakubpur- Gata no. 1 to 885 (whole village) Total Gata no. 885 Total Area – 248.715 Hectares
WEST -
Village Bahore Nagla-Gata no. 01 To 807 (whole village) Total Gata no. 807 Total Area –342.573 Hectares
The total Gata nos. of village Yakoobpur and village Bahore Nagla are merged .

Territorial area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly after including area specified in Schedule-I:–
East - Till the Border of village Jyora Makrandpur West - Till the Border of village Sijoulia North - Till the Border of village Indhjagir South - Till the Border of village Richhola Kifayatullah Total Areas of present Municipal Council– 218.256 Hectares Total Area of the Municipal Council after including the areas specified above in the transitional area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Bareilly-809.544 Hectares.
