IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the notification no. 2662/IX-1– 2022-91T.A.-20, dated September 16, 2022:

WHEREAS notification no. 2001/IX-1-2022-91T.A.-20 dated July 19, 2022 was issued and published in the Gazette with a view to invite objections and suggestions from the general public with respect to the inclusion of the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Kampil in District Farrukhabad as required by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Muncipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916).
AND, WHEREAS, no objection and suggestion has been received within the stipulated time;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P.Act no. II of 1916) and in partial modification of notification no. 2126 T/IX-178-25-T(1)-72 dated April 27, 1978 and other previous notifications issued from time to time in this behalf, the Governor having regard to the population of the area, the density of population therein, the revenue generated for the local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities and economic importance and such other factors is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Kampil in District Farrukhabad for the purpose of Part IX-A of the Constitution.
