izeq[k lfpoA mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 3 vDVwcj] 2022 3 IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 2925/IX-1–2022-36T.A.-2022, dated October 3, 2022:

WHEREAS Government notification no. 756/IX-1-2022-36T.A.-2022, dated July 16, 2022 was issued and published in the Gazette with a view to invite objections and suggestions from the general public with respect to the inclusion of the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Katra in District Gonda as required by sub-section (1) section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. II of 1916);
AND, WHEREAS, objections and suggestions received in pursuance of said notification were disposed of vide Government Order no. 2616/IX-1-2022-36T.A.-2022, dated September 16 , 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) and in partial modification of notification no. 925/11-23(T) Muarikha, dated February 19, 1923 and other previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor having regard to the population of the area, the density of the Population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities, the economic importance and such other factors is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Katra in District Gonda for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India.
