IN exercise of the powers under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 46 read with sub-section (3) of the said section and section 2 of the Police Act, 1861 (U.P. Act no. 5 of 1861) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable and Head Constable Service Rules, 2015.
THE UTTAR PRADESH POLICE CONSTABLE AND HEAD CONSTABLE SERVICE (THIRD AMENDMENT) RULES, 2022
Short title and
1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable and Head commencement
Constable Service (Third Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Gazette.
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable and Head Constable Service Rules, Amendment of rule 12
2015, for rule 12 set out in Column-I below, the rule as set out in Column-II shall be substituted, namely:-
