IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 3263/IX-1–2022-106 Pari.-22, dated October 25, 2022 :

THE following draft of notification which the Governor proposed to issue in exercise of the powers under section 11-B of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) regarding delimitation of Ward of Nagar Panchayat Badhalganj in district Gorakhpur, is hereby published as required under sub-section (2) of the said section for the information of concerned person and for inviting objection.

Objection, if any, with respect to the proposed notification should be sent in writing addressed to the Principal Secretary, Nagar Vikas Anubhag-1, Lucknow and be submitted in the office of the District Magistrate, Gorakhpur on any working day during office time. Only those objection will be considered which are received within seven days from the date of publication of this notification.

PROPOSED NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of section 11-B of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Act,1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916), the Governor is pleased to issue the following order with regard to the delimitation of Ward of Municipal area of Nagar Panchayat Badhalganj, district Gorakhpur :–

(a) The Municipal area of the said Nagar Panchayat Badhalganj, for the purpose of election, shall be divided into 18 Wards;

(b) The delimitation of each Ward shall be as given in Column-3 against Ward number mentioned in Column-1 of the Schedule below.
