NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS, the seat of Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav, in the House of the People, elected from 21-Mainpuri Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh has become vacant on 10th October, 2022 by the reason of his death ; and

2. WHEREAS, a bye-election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused;

3. NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 149, and Sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby:-

(A) calls upon the said 21-Mainpuri Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh to elect, before the 10th December, 2022 (Saturday), and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the House of the People;

(B) appoints, with respect to the said election:-

(a) the 17th November, 2022 (Thursday), as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 18th November, 2022 (Friday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (c) the 21st November, 2022 (Monday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures; (d) the 5th December, 2022 (Monday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken;

यतः , उ(cid:517)र (cid:366)देश रा(cid:475) से लोक सभा म(cid:336) उस रा(cid:475) के 21-मैनपुरी लोक सभा िनवा(cid:330)चन (cid:407)े(cid:361) से िनवा(cid:330)िचत, (cid:373)ी मुलायम िसंह यादव का (cid:830)थान उनकी मृ(cid:529)ु होने के प(cid:303)रणाम(cid:738)(cid:349)प िदनांक 10 अ(cid:389)ूबर, 2022 को (cid:303)र(cid:389) हो गया है; और

2– यतः , इस (cid:366)कार (cid:352)ई (cid:303)र(cid:304)(cid:389) को भरने के (cid:366)योजन से उप-िनवा(cid:330)चन कराया जाना है ;

3– अतः , अब, लोक (cid:366)ितिनिध(cid:533) अिधिनयम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 149 की उपधारा (1), तथा धाराओं 30 और 56 के अनुसरण म(cid:336), भारत िनवा(cid:330)चन आयोग, ,rn~}kjk –

(अ) उ(cid:517)र (cid:366)देश रा(cid:475) म(cid:336) उ(cid:389) 21-मैनपुरी लोक सभा िनवा(cid:330)चन (cid:407)े(cid:361) से यह अपे(cid:407)ा करता है िक वह 10 िदस(cid:638)र, 2022 (शिनवार) से पूव(cid:330) तथा उ(cid:389) अिधिनयम के और त(cid:544)ीन बनाए गए िनयमों और िकए गए आदेशों के उपब(cid:576)ों के अनुसार लोक सभा म(cid:336) उ(cid:389) (cid:303)र(cid:304)(cid:389) को भरने के (cid:366)योजन से एक (cid:681)(cid:304)(cid:389) िनवा(cid:330)िचत कर(cid:336) ;

(आ) उ(cid:389) िनवा(cid:330)चन के स(cid:638)(cid:576) म(cid:336) –

(क) नाम िनद(cid:337)शन करने की अ(cid:304)(cid:566)म तारीख : 17 नव(cid:638)र, 2022 (xq:okj);

(ख) नाम िनद(cid:337)शनों की संवी(cid:407)ा की तारीख : 18 नव(cid:638)र, 2022 (शु(cid:354)वार);

(ग) अ(cid:631)िथ(cid:330)ताएं वापस लेने की अ(cid:304)(cid:566)म तारीख : 21 नव(cid:638)र, 2022 (सोमवार);

(घ) वह तारीख, िजसको यिद आव(cid:692)क (cid:352)आ तो, : 5 िदस(cid:638)र, 2022 (सोमवार);

मतदान होगा

(ङ) वह तारीख, िजससे पूव(cid:330) िनवा(cid:330)चन lEiUu : 10 िदस(cid:638)र, 2022 (शिनवार)

करा िलया जाएगा

िनयत करता है; और

(इ) 07:00 बजे पूवा(cid:330)(cid:741) से 06:00 बजे अपरा(cid:741) तक का समय, ऐसे समय के (cid:349)प म(cid:336) िनयत करता है िजसके दौरान यिद आव(cid:692)क (cid:352)आ तो, िनवा(cid:330)चन के िलए उपरो(cid:389) िविनिद(cid:330)(cid:700) तारीख को, मतदान होगा ।
