IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (Act no. 23 of 1940) read with rule 44 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, the Governor is pleased to appoint the following persons to be "Government Analysts" for the whole of Uttar Pradesh for certifying all drugs and cosmetics for the purposes of the aforesaid Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette. :–
