IN exercise of the powers under section 26-X of the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Adhiniyam, 1964 (U.P. Act no. 25 of 1964), the State Agricultural Produce Markets Board, Lucknow with the previous approval of the State Government, makes the following regulations with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Produce Markets Board (Officers and Staff Establishment) Regulations, 1984.

Short title and 1. (1) These regulations may be called The Uttar Pradesh Agricultural
commencement Produce Markets Board (Officers and Staff Establishment) (Twelfth Amendment)
Regulations, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication
in Gazette.
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Produce Markets Board (Officers and Staff Amendment of regulation 9A Establishment) Regulations, 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Regulations") for
the existing regulation 9A set out in Column-I below, the regulation as set out in
Column-II shall be substituted, namely :-

The qualification and procedure for promotion form Group-D to Group-C Junior Assitant posts shall be the same as prescribed by the Government of Uttar pradesh for the time being in the Departments of the State Government (except the office of Uttar Pradesh Secretariat, State Legislature, Public Commissioner, Uttar pradesh Public Service Commission, Subordinate Courts of the State of Uttar Prradesh under the control and superintendence of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Advocate General, Uttar Pradesh and offices under the control of the Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh).
