IN exercise of the powers under clause (c) of the restrictive clause of rule 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Transit of Timber and other Forest Produce Rules, 1978 read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (Act no. 1 of 1904), the Governor is pleased to exempt the operation of the said rules for "Mahua Flowers, Mahua Seeds, Lac, Amla Fruits and Chiraunji" within the boundary of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
