IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 4059/IX-1–2022- 69Pari.-22, dated December 29, 2022:

WHEREAS in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 11-B of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) (hereinafter referred to as the "aforesaid Act") the notification no. 3440/IX-1–2022-69Pari.-22, with regard to the delimitation of wards of Municipal area of Nagar Palika Parishad Loni, district Ghaziabad was issued on November 5, 2022 and after considering objections received in pursuance of the order published the Final Notification no. 3504/IX-1– 2022-69Pari.-22 was issued on November 10, 2022;

AND, WHEREAS, Hon'ble High Court Allahabad has passed an order dated December 23, 2022 in writ petition no. Writ C-39664/2022, Darshan Singh Vs State of Uttar Pradesh and 02 others staying the effect/implementation of Notification dated November 5, 2022 delimitation of Nagar Palika Parishad Loni in district Ghaziabad;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 11-B of the aforesaid Act Notification no. 3440/IX-1–2022-69Pari.-22, dated November 11, 2022 and the Final Notification no. 3283/IX-1–2022-69Pari.-22, dated November 10, 2022 with regard to the delimitation of wards of Municipal area of Nagar Palika Parishad Loni, district Ghaziabad, is hereby rescinded.
