No. 155/UP-LC/2023 :- In pursuance of the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India, hereby makes the following amendment in its notifications No. 155/UP-LC/2001(1), dated 2nd August, 2001 and No. 155/UP-LC/2010, dated 18th October, 2010 as amended from time to time, relating to appointment of Assistant Returning Officers for Council constituencies in the State of Uttar Pradesh :–

In the Table appended to the said notification, under the heading "I-GRADUATES' CONSTITUENCIES"-

Against entry "3. Gorakhpur-Faizabad Division Graduates" of Column (1), the existing entry in Column (2) "1. Additional Commissioner, Judicial, Gorakhpur Division" shall be substituted with "1. Additional Commissioner, (Administration), Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur".
