IN exercise of the powers under section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act no. 2 of 1974) read with sub-rule (ii) of rule 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Petty Offences (Trail by Special Judicial Magistrate) Rules, 1997, the Governor on the recommendation of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is pleased to appoint the persons mentioned in Column-2 of the Schedule below as the Special Judicial Magistrate to try petty offences defined in Clause (c) of rule 2 of the aforesaid rules, to the Courts established vide Government notification no. 3093/VII-Nyay-2–08-201G-95, dated August 26, 1996, in the district mentioned against each in Column-3 of the said Schedule, for a period of one year from the date of their taking over charge.
