Whereas preliminary notification no 18/VIII-A.Ji.A.(Bhu.A.)/San.San./Ghaziabad dated April 8, 2022 was issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in respect of 1.5531 hectares of land in village Ukhlarasi, Sikri Khurd & Bisokhar, Pargana Jalalabad Tehsil Modinagar, District Ghaziabad is required for public purpose, namely Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut R.R.T.S. Corridor project through National Capital Region Transport Corporation and lastly published on dated April 15, 2022. The Deputy Collector / Assistant Collector Modinagar was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the project affected families.

2- After considering the report of the Collector submitted in pursuance to the provision under sub-section (2) of the section 15 of the Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under section 19 (1) of the Act that he is satisfied that the area of the land mentioned in the given schedule "A" is needed for the public purpose.

3-The Governor is further pleased under sub-section (2) of section 19 of the Act, to direct the Collector of District Ghaziabad to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication of the declaration to this effect. The summary of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is attached herewith.

NOTIFICATION OF DECLARATION BY COLLECTOR [Under Sub-section (2) of Section 19 of the Act]

By the order of declaration made under Government notification No. 18/VIII-A.Ji.A. (Bhu.A.)/ San.San./Ghaziabad dated April 08, 2022, 1.5531 hectares of land in village Ukhlarasi, Sikri Khurd and Bisokhar, Pargana Jalalabad Tehsil Modinagar, District Ghaziabad is required for public purpose, namely Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut R.R.T.S. Corridor project through National Capital Region Transport Corporation, I hereby published the declaration made therein summary of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme along with Government notification, a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is given below .

Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut R.R.T.S. Corridor would bring Economic growth in the region and employment opportunities to the inhabitants would enhance. Also the traffic congestion between the National Capital and nodal cities would reduce to improve the overall environment of the area.

For the said project, 1.5531 hectares land is proposed to be acquired in village Ukhlarasi, Sikri Khurd and Bisokhar, Pargana Jalalabad Tehsil Modinagar, District Ghaziabad in which around 46 families are expected to be affected because of the acquisition and out of that likely 23 families are in residential/commercial displacement category. For the project affected families, R and R draft scheme has been prepared . The salient features of the Resettlement and Rehabilitation scheme are as follows:-

➢ The compensation for land and assets attached with it would be evaluated and distributed as per schedule-1 and other provisions laid down under RFCTLARR Act, 2013.

➢ The Rehabilitation and Resettlement assistance would be paid as per the provisions of schedule-2 of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013.

➢ One time payment of Rs. 5,00,000/- in lieu of Job/annuity to each affected family . ➢ One time resettlement allowance of Rs. 50,000/- to each affected family. ➢ One time allowance @ Rs. 25000/- per family for reconstruction of shop,who lost their shop due to acquisition.

➢ One time transportation allowance @ Rs. 50,000/- per displaced family. ➢ Subsistence grant of Rs. 3000/- per month for a period of 12 months to all displaced families.

1. The implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme will be completed within 18 months .

2. The plan for the land may be inspected in the office of the collector for the purpose of land Acquisition.
