IN exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Stamps and Registration Department (Group A and Group B) Service Rules, 1982.

THE UTTAR PRADESH STAMPS AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT (GROUP A AND GROUP B) (FIRST AMENDMENT) SERVICE RULES, 2022

Short title and

1. (1) These rules may be called The Uttar Pradesh Stamps and Registration commencement

Department (Group A and Group B) (First Amendment) Service Rules, 2022.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Uttar Pradesh Stamps and Registration Department (Group A and Amendment

Group B) Service rules, 1982 hereinafter referred as said rules, for the word (Group A and Group B) wherever occurring including the preamble, the Short, long title and Definitions the word Group A shall be substituted.

3. In the said rules for existing rule 2 as set out in Column-1 below, the rule as rule 2
