WHEREAS preliminary notification no. 882 dated October 3, 2022 was issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to fair Compensation and Transparency in Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in respect of village Aminagar urf Bhudbaral area 2.0395, Baral Partapur area 1.1484 Hect., Mohkampur area 0.7022 Hect., Meerut Khas area 0.4224 Hect., Hafijabad Mewla area 1.2960 Hect. Pargana Sarawa/Meerut Tehsil Sadar District Meerut and village Mukarrabpur Palheda area 0.870736 Hect., Roshanpur Daurli area 0.41441 Hect., Dulhera Chauhan area 0.1710 Hect. Pargana Tehsil Shardhana District Meerut is required for public purpose, namely, project "implementation of Delhi- Gzb- Meerut RRTS Corridor" through National Capital Region Transport Corporation ( NCRTC) and lastly published in 2 local news paper Amar Ujala (in Hindi) and Hindustan Times (in English) dated November 17, 2022 and November 19, 2022. The Deputy Collector/Assistant Collector Meerut was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the project affected families.

After considering the report of the Collector submitted in pursuance to provision under sub- section (2) of the section 15 of the Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under section 19 (1) of the Act that he is satisfied that the area of the land mentioned in the given schedule "A" is needed for public purpose and the land to the extent of-………..Nill……hectares in village-………..Nill…… Pargana- ………..Nill……District-………..Nill……as given in schedule "B" has been identified as the rehabilitation and resettlement area for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the displaced families.

The Collector is further pleased under sub-section (2) of Section 19 of the Act, to direct the Collector of Meerut to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication of the declaration to this effect. The summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is attached herewith [no family is displaced in land acquisition for project "implementation of Delhi- Gzb- Meerut RRTS Corridor" through National Capital Region Transport Corporation ( NCRTC) Way hence there is no need for identification of any land for Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme].

Pargana Meerut Tehsil Sadar District Meerut and village Mukarrabpur Palheda area 0.8707 Hect., Roshanpur Daurli area 0.4144 Hect., Dulhera Chauhan area 0.1710 Hect.

Pargana Daurala and Tehsil Shardhana District Meerut is required for public purpose, namely, project "implementation of Delhi-Gzb-Meerut RRTS Corridor" through National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). I hereby published the declaration made therein and summary Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme along with Government notification, a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is given below:–

Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor would bring economic growth in the region and employment opportunities to the inhabitants would enhance. Also the traffic congestion between the National Capital and nodal cities would reduce to improve the overall environment of the area.

For the said project, 5.8982 hectares land is proposed to be acquired in village Aminagar Bhudbaral, Baral Partapur, Mohkampur, Meerut Khas, Hafizabad Mewla of Tehsil Sadar and Village Dulhera Chauhan, Roshanpur Daurli, Mukarrabpur Palheda of Tehsil Sardhana, District Meerut in which around 123 families are expected to be affected because of the acquisition and out of that likely 30 families are in residential/Commercial displacement category. For the project affected families, R&R draft scheme has been prepared . The salient features of the resettlement and rehabilitation scheme are as follows:

➢ The Compensation for the land and assets attached with it would be evaluated and distributed as per schedule-1 and other provisions laid down under RFCTLARR Act 2013.

➢ The Rehabilitation and Resettlement assistance would be paid as per the provisions of Schedule-2 of the RFCTLARR Act 2013.

➢ One time payment of Rs.5,00,000/- in lieu of Job/annuity to each affected family.

➢ One time resettlement allowance of Rs.50,000/- to each family.

➢ One time allowance @ Rs.25000/- per family for reconstruction of shop, who lost their shop due to acquisition.

➢ One time transportation allowance @ Rs. 50,000/- per displaced family.

➢ Subsistance grant of Rs. 3000/- per month for a period of 12 months to all displaced families.

1. The implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme will be completed within 18 months.

2. The plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector for the purpose of land acquisition.
