IN exercise of the powers under clause (1) of Article 243-ZA of the Constitution of India and sub-section (2) section 50 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act,1959 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1959), the Governor, in consultation with the State Election Commission, is pleased to appoint 9th April, 2023 to 13th May, 2023 as the dates for the general election of Municipal Corporations in the State.
