IN exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Police Service Rules, 2016.
THE UTTAR PRADESH POLICE SERVICE (SECOND AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023
Short title and
1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Police Service (Second commencement
Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Uttar Pradesh Police Service Rules, 2016, hereinafter referred to as the rule 5
