In exercise of the powers under Section 21 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act no. 2 of 1974), the Governor is pleased to appoint all Gazetted Officers and Subordinate Gazetted Officers of all departments of the State Government and all officers holding posts carrying the Pay Band Rs. 9,300-34,800, Pay Grade Rs. 4,600 and above in Local Authorities and Corporations or Bodies owned and controlled by the State Government, posted in Districts Lucknow, Ayodhya, Kanpur Nagar, Meerut, Banda, Varanasi, Bareily, Azamgarh, Agra and Jhansi of Uttar Pradesh in 'Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Examination 2023 (UPCATET- 2023)' conducted by Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, as Executive Magistrates to be known as Special Executive Magistrates on Dated May 30th and 31st, 2023 and to confer on them all the powers of the Executive Magistrates as are conferrable under the said code on such Executive Magistrates, to be exercised within the limits of respective district in which they are for the time being posted.
