WHEREAS preliminary Notification no. 93/LXXVII-3-23-71(M)-2020, dated January 17, 2023 was issued under sub.section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), in respect of Total 7.8036 Hectares of land in Tehsil– Sahjnwa/Khajni/Sadar village Narkataha 0.0280 hect., khanipur 0.1746 hect., Bhagwanpur 0.0779 hect., Gadaina 0.0083 hect., Majhadeep 0.0212 hect., Chatiyari 0.0154 hect., Bahadurpur Bujurg 0.0036 hect., Bari 0.0005 hect., Bhisiya Buzurg 0.0016 hect., Harnahi 0.7439 hect. The Collector, Gorakhpur was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the project affected families;

NOW, THEREFORE, after considering the report of the Collector, Gorakhpur submitted under sub section (2) of section 15 of the said Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under sub-section (1) of section 19 of the said Act that she is satisfied that the area of land mentioned in Schedule–A below is needed for public purpose and no land in the Village, Paragana and District as given in Schedule–B has been identified for Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the displaced families (No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for this project).

The Governor is further pleased under sub-section (2) of section 19 of the said Act to direct the Collector of Gorakhpur to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication of the declaration to this effect. The summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement scheme is attached herewith. (No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project in district Gorakhpur. Hence there is no need for identification of any land for
