In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Geology and Mining, Subordinate Technical Service Rules, 1987.

SUBORDINATE TECHNICAL SERVICE (THIRD AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023
1. (1) These Rules may be called The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Geology and Short title and commencement Mining Subordinate Technical Service (Third Amendment) Rules, 2023
(2) They shall come into force at once.
Amendment of Appendix 'A' 2. In the Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Geology and Mining Subordinate Technical Service Rules, 1987, hereinafter referred to as the said rules, for existing Appendix 'A' referred to in rule 4 (2) for the post of Surveyor and Senior Surveyor set out in column-I below, the Appendix 'A' as set out in column-II shall be substituted, namely:-
