IN exercise of the powers under section 78-A of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act no. 16 of 1908) as amended, from time to time, in its application to Uttar Pradesh, the Governor, under this notification is pleased to remit the Registration Fee Rs. 8,69,54,148/- (Eight Crores Sixty Nine Lakhs Fifty Four Thousands One Hundred Forty Eight rupees only) chargeable on the instrument of conveyance under Clause (a) of Article-23 of Schedule-1(b) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 for the purchase of land in order to the development and expansion of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, Varanasi.
