IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1569/XVII-M–2023-17-1099-183-2019, dated November 1, 2023 :

In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is please to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Fisheries (Gazetted) Service Rules, 1993 :–

THE UTTAR PRADESH FISHERIES (GAZETTED) SERVICE (SECOND AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023

1. (i) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Fisheries (Gazetted) service Short title and commencement

(Second Amendment) Rules, 2023;

(ii) They shall come into force with effect from July 1, 2023.

Substitution of sub-rule 5(1)

2. In Uttar Pradesh Fisherries (Gazetted) service rules, 1993, for existing sub-rule 5 (1) set out in Column-1 below, the rules as set out in Column-2 shall be substituted, namely :–

(1) Director-By promotion from amongst substantively appoint Joint Director who have completed seven years of service as such and a total service of twenty five years and Deputy Director, who have completed ten years of service as such and a total service of twenty-five years on the first day of the year of recruitment.
