&&&&&& IN pursuance of the provision of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government notification no. 1468@XI-2–23-9¼47½-17-T.C.-241-U.P. Act-1-2017-Order ¼308½-2023, dated November 17, 2023 :
No. 1468@XI-2–23-9¼47½-17-T.C.-241-U.P. Act-1-2017-Order ¼308½-2023 Dated Lucknow, November 17, 2023 IN exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 9, sub-section (1) of Section 11, sub-section (5) of section 15 and section 148 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 2017), the Governor, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interst so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification no. KA.NI.-2–843/XI-9(47)-17-U.P. Act-1-2017-Order (10)-2017, dated June 30, 2017, namely :–
In the aforesaid notification, in the Table,-
(1) after serial number 3A and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number

(3) against serial number 7, in cloumn (3), in the Explanation, in item (a), in sub-item (i), after the words "Department of Posts", the words and brackets "and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)" shall be inserted;
(4) against serial number 8, in cloumn (3), in the proviso, in item (i), after the words "Department of Posts", the words and brackets "and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)" shall be inserted;
(5) against serial number 9, in cloumn (3), in the first proviso, in item (i), after the words "Department of Posts", the words and brackets "and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)" shall be inserted;
2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 20th day of October, 2023.
