IN exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending The Uttar Pradesh Ayush Department Unani Pharmacists Service, Rules, 2023 :-
THE UTTAR PRADESH AYUSH DEPARTMENT UNANI PHARMACISTS SERVICE (FIRST AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023
Short title and
1. (1) The rules may be called The Uttar Pradesh Ayush Department Unani commencement Pharmacists Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force atonce.
Substitution of rule-8 2. In the Uttar Pradesh Ayush Department Unani Pharmacists Service, Rules, 2023, for existing rule-8 set out in column-I below, the rule as set out in column-II shall be substituted, namely :-
Existing Rule Rule as hereby substituted Column-I Column-II 8. Academic Qualification- A candidate for direct recruitment to the post in service must have passed Intermediate Examination in Science (Biology Group) from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an Examination recognised by Government as equivalent thereto and must possess diploma in Unani Pharmacy from a recognised institution registered with the board of Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi System of Medicine U.P.
8. Academic Qualification- A candidate for direct recruitment to the post in service, must have passed Intermediate Examination with Science (Biology or Mathematics Group) of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an Examination recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto and must possess diploma in Unani Pharmacy from a recognised Institution registered with the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi System of Medicine Uttar Pradesh and must be registered in Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi System of Medicine Uttar Pradesh.
