IN exercise of the powers under sections 65, 95, 96, 111 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act no. 59 of 1988) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897), the Governor is pleased to order that the provision of compulsory CCTV Camera in the School Vans as provided under sub-rule (1) (O), (2) (P), (3) (J) of rule 222 L of the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicle Rules, 1998 as amended by Government notification no. 11/2022-526-XXX-4–2022-17(SA)-2018, dated May 2, 2022 shall come into effect after 3 months from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
