IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 01/2023/969/VII- Nyay-2–2023-201G-95, dated January 3, 2024:

IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act no. 2 of 1974) read with sub-rule (ii) of rule 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Petty Offences (Trail by Special Judicial Magistrates) Rules, 1997, and section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897) and in partial modification of Government notification no. 23/2022/845/VII-Nyaya-2–2022- 201G-95, dated November 7, 2022 and notification no. 21/2023/410/VII-Nyaya-2–2023- 201G-95, dated May 24, 2023 the Governor, on the recommendation of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is pleased to direct that name of the persons mentioned in Schedule below whose appointments have been cancelled by the said Hon'ble High Court shall be omitted from the aforesaid notifications dated November 7, 2022 and May 24, 2023 with immediate effect.
