Dated Lucknow, January 5, 2024

WHEREAS Preliminary notification no. 84/2022/1701/Chhapan–2022-31-2016 (Stage-2), dated 18th November, 2022 was issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013) for acquisition of 1181.2793 hectares of land in villages Ranhera, Kuraib, Karauli Banger, Dayanatpur, Veerampur and Mundrah, Pargana Jewar, Tehsil Jewar, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, which is required for public purpose, namely, expansion of the Noida International Airport, Jewar through the Civil Aviation Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh and lastly published on 19th November, 2022. In place of Gata Numbers 222/1, 222/2, 1012/1, 1012/2 and 1012/3 in the said notification of Revenue Village Ranhera incorrect Plot Numbers 221/1, 221/2, 1212/1, 1212/2 and 1212/3 were published. notification number 53/2023/382/Chhappan–2023-31-2016(Stage-2), dated 18th April, 2023 issued under section 19(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 has been issued leaving the incorrectly published numbers in the said notification under section 11 of the aforesaid Act. In place of incorrectly published plot numbers 221/1, 221/2, 1212/1, 1212/2 and 1212/3 in the previously issued notification dated 18th November, 2022 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, for the acquisition of 1.5940 hectare land of correct plot numbers 222/1, 222/2, 1012/1, 1012/2 and 1012/3, the Preliminary notification no. 75/2023/781/Chhappan–2023-31-2016 (Stage-2), dated 18th July, 2023 was issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013) and lastly published on 22nd July, 2023. The Deputy Collector, Jewar, District Gautam Buddha Nagar was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the affected families.

After considering the report of the Collector submitted in pursuance of provision under sub- section (2) of the section 15 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under section 19(1) of the Act that he is satisfied that the area of the land mentioned in the given Schedule "A" is needed for public purpose and the land to the extent of 211.8168 hectares in villages Jewar Bangar, Mandalpur, Falaida Banger, Karauli Banger, Dhanpura, Mehandipur Banger and Tirthali, Pargana Jewar Tehsil Jewar, District Gautam Buddha Nagar as given in Schedule "B" has been identified as the Rehabilitation and Resettlement area for the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the displaced families and has been published in Schedule 'B' with the notification no. 53/2023/382/Chhappan–2023-31-2016(Stage-2), dated 18th April, 2023.

3. The Governor is further pleased under sub-section (2) of section 19 of the said Act, to direct the Collector of District Gautam Buddha Nagar to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication of the declaration to this effect. The summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is attached herewith.
