IN exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 read with Article 233 of the Constitution, the Governor in accordance with the recommendations of High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1975.
THE UTTAR PRADESH HIGHER JUDICIAL SERVICE
(SIXTEENTH AMENDMENT) RULES, 2023
1. (1) These rules may be called "The Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Short title and commencement (Sixteenth Amendment) Rules, 2023".
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1975, hereinafter Amendment in rule 5
referred to as the said rules, in rule 5 for existing sub-rule (c) as setout in column-1
below, the rule as setout in column-2 shall be substituted namely:-
