उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश नगर िनगम अिधिनयम, 1959 (अिधिनयम सं(cid:783)या 2 सन् 1959) की धारा 112 क और उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश नगर पािलका अिधिनयम, 1916 (अिधिनयम सं(cid:783)या 2 सन् 1916) की धारा-69 ख के अधीन श(cid:304)(cid:389)यों का (cid:366)योग करके रा(cid:789)यपाल उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश पािलका (के (cid:802)(cid:363)ीियत) सेवा िनयमावली, 1966 म(cid:336) संशोधन करने की (cid:778)ि(cid:700) से िजस िनयमावली को बनाने का (cid:366)(cid:830)ताव करते ह(cid:339), उसका िन(cid:817)निल(cid:304)खत (cid:366)ा(cid:349)प पूव(cid:342)(cid:779)त अिधिनयम सन् 1959 की धारा 540 की उपधारा (2) तथा पूव(cid:342)(cid:779)त अिधिनयम सन् 1916 की धारा 300 की अपे(cid:407)ानुसार सम(cid:830)त स(cid:817)ब(cid:304)(cid:576)त (cid:826)य(cid:304)(cid:389)यों की सूचना के िलए और उसके संबंध म(cid:336) आपि(cid:517)यॉं और सुझाव आमंि(cid:361)त करने की (cid:778)ि(cid:700) से ,rn~}kjk (cid:366)कािशत करते ह(cid:339)।
(cid:366)(cid:830)तािवत िनयमावली के संबंध म(cid:336) आपि(cid:517)यॉं और सुझाव, यिद कोई हों, (cid:366)मुख सिचव, नगर िवकास अनुभाग-4, उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश शासन, लखनऊ (Email id- [email protected]) एवं िनदेशक, नगर (cid:830)थानीय िनकाय लखनऊ को स(cid:817)बोिधत करके िल(cid:304)खत (cid:349)प म(cid:336) (cid:366)ेिषत िकये जाने चािहये। के वल उ(cid:802)ही ं आपि(cid:517)यों और सुझावों पर िवचार िकया जायेगा, जो bZ-मेल या रिज(cid:830)टड(cid:330) डाक (cid:554)ारा इस अिधसूचना के गजट म(cid:336) (cid:366)कािशत िकये जाने के िदनांक से 30 िदन के भीतर (cid:366)ा(cid:810)त होंगे।

संि(cid:407)(cid:810)त नाम, िव(cid:830)तार 1-(1) यह िनयमावली उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश पािलका (के (cid:802)(cid:363)ीियत) सेवा (अ(cid:487)ाइसवॉं संशोधन) िनयमावली,
और (cid:366)ार(cid:817)भ 2024 कही जायेगी।
(2) यह उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश म(cid:336) सम(cid:830)त नगर िनगमों, नगर पािलका प(cid:303)रषदों और नगर पंचायतों पर लागू
होगी।
(3) यह गजट म(cid:336) (cid:366)कािशत िकये जाने के िदनांक से (cid:366)वृ(cid:797)त होगी।

(2) उ(cid:797)तर (cid:366)देश पािलका (के (cid:802)(cid:363)ीियत) सेवा िनयमावली, 1966 िजसे आगे ''उ(cid:779)त िनयमावली'' कहा संशोधन
गया है, म(cid:336) नीचे (cid:830)त(cid:817)भ-1 म(cid:336) िदये गये िनयम-3 के (cid:830)थान पर (cid:830)त(cid:817)भ-2 म(cid:336) िदया गया fu;e रख िदया जायेगा,

IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 876/IX-4–2023-5J- 2011, dated March 15, 2024 :

The following draft rules which the Governor proposes to make in exercise of the powers under section 112 - A of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1959 (Act no. 2 of 1959) and section 69B of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act , 1916 (Act no. 2 of 1916) with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Palika (Centralised) Service Rules, 1966 are hereby published as required by sub-section (2) of section 540 of the aforesaid Act of 1959 and section 300 of the aforesaid Act of 1916 for the information of all concerned and with a view to invite objections and suggestions in respect thereof.
Objections and suggestions, if any, with respect to the proposed rules should be sent in writing addressed to Pramukh Sachiv , Nagar Vikas Anubhag-4, Uttar Pradesh Shasan, Lucknow (Email Id- [email protected]) and Director, Urban Local Bodies , Lucknow. THE UTTAR PRADESH PALIKA (CENTRALISED) SERVICE (TWENTY-EIGHTH AMENDMENT) RULES, 2024
Short title ,
1 (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Palika (Centralised) Services
(Twenty-eighth Amendment) Rules, 2024 .
extent and commencement
(2) They shall be applicable to all the Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils
and Nagar Panchayats in Uttar Pradesh.
(3) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the
Gazette.

2. In the Uttar Pradesh Palika (Centralised) Service Rules, 1966, ( hereinafter referred to as the " said rules ") , for rule 3 set out in column-I below the rule as set out in column- II shall be substituted, namely :-
