IN exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Act no. 63 of 1948), the Governor is pleased to appoint Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Director Boiler as "Chief Inspector of Factories" till the regular appointment on the Post of Director factory or until further orders for the purposes aforesaid Act for the whole of Uttar Pradesh with effect from the date of his taking over charge.
