IN exercise of the power under Section 21 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act no. 2 of 1974), the Governor is pleased to appoint from the date June 13, 2024 till June 20, 2024 (June 17, 2024 as Gazetted Holiday and June 19, 2024 & June 20, 2024 as Reserve Holiday) all the supervisors of the centers of UPJEE(P)-2024 conducted by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow as defined in clause (n) of Section 2 of Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Act, 1962 (U.P. Act no. XVII of 1962) as Executive Magistrates, to be known as Special Executive Magistrate and to confer on them all the powers of the Executive Magistrates as are conferrable under the said code on such Executive Magistrate, to be exercised within the limits of the respective centers of which they are the Superintendents.
