IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 3/2024/500/XXXVI-3-2024-1790704, dated June 21, 2024:

The following draft rules which the Governor proposes to make in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of sections 14 of the The Unorganized Workers Social Security Act, 2008 (Act no. 33 of 2008) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897) are hereby published for the information of all concerned and with a view to invite objections and suggestions in respect therof.
All objections and suggestions with respect to said rules should be sent in duplicate addressed to Principal Secretary, Shram Anubhag-3, Uttar Pradesh Shasan, Bapu Bhawan, Lucknow-226001/Labour Commissioner Office G.T. Road, Kanpur.
Only those objections and suggestions which are received within forty-five days from the date of publication of the notification in the Gazette shall be taken into consideration.
DRAFT RULES
THE UTTAR PRADESH UNORGANIZED WORKER'S SOCIAL SECURITY
(FIRST AMENDMENT) RULES, 2024
1. (1) These Rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Worker's Short title and
Social Security (First Amendment) Rules, 2024.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of its final publication in the Gazette.
mÙkj çns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 21 twu] 2024 32. In the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Worker's Social Security Rules, 2016, for Amendment of rule 23 sub-rule (3) of rule 23 set out in Column-1 below, the sub-rule as set out in Column-II
shall be substituted, namely.
