THE following draft rules which the Governor proposes to make in exercise of the powers under sections 6 and 112 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Act no. 63 of 1948) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897) are hereby published as required by section 115 of the said Act of 1948 for the information of all concerned and with a view to invite objections and suggestions in respect thereof.
All objections and suggestions with respect to the above said draft rules should be sent in writing addressed to the Principal Secretary, Shram Anubhag-3, Uttar Pradesh Shasan, Bapu Bhawan, Lucknow.
Only those objections and suggestions which are received within forty-five days from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, shall be taken into consideration.

1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Factories (Seventy fourth Short title and Amendment) Rules, 2024.
