NOTIFICATION

Under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. Whereas the Government of Uttar Pradesh/Collector (for the purpose of Appropriate Government) is satisfied that a total of 3.9930 hectares of land is required in the village Aminagar urf Bhudbaral Tehsil Sadar District Meerut & Village Mukkarabpur Palhera, Siwaya Jamaullapur and Dulhera Chauhan Tehsil Shardhana, District Meerut for construction of bus stations/public purpose, namely, project "Shifting of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Bhainsali Bus Terminal at two locations outside Meerut City".

Social Impact Assessment study was carried out by the Social Impact Assessment agency and submits its recommendation to the Appropriate Government.

The summary of the Social Impact Assessment Report as follows :

Taking action for land acquisition in Meerut district for the purpose of "Shifiting of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Bhainsali Bus Terminal at two locations outside Meerut City" is in the public interest and it serves the public purpose. The project will develop a faster, safer and cheaper transport system. The potential benefits from this project far outweigh the social costs and adverse social impacts. The land proposed for acquisition is very less relative to the total land value required for the project.

A total of ……… families are likely to be displaced due to the land acquisition.

Deputy Collector/Assistant Collector Meerut Sadar and Deputy Collector Sardhana is appointed as administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the project-affected families under their respective jurisdictions.

Therefore, the Governor is pleased to notify for general information that the land mentioned in the

schedule below is needed for public purposes.

1. The Governor is also pleased to authorize the Collector for the purpose of land acquisition to take necessary steps to enter upon and survey of the land, take levels of any land, dig subsoil into the sub oil and do all the acts required for the proper execution of work as provided and specified under Section 12 of the Act.

2. Under Section 15 of the Act, any person interested in the land may within 60 days after the publication of this notification, make an objection to the acquisition of land in the locality in writing to the collector.

3. Under Section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale/purchase, specified in the preliminary notification or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification till such time as the proceedings of land acquisition is completed, without prior approval of the collector.

NOTE :– A plan of land may be inspected in the office of the collector for the purpose of acquisition.
