Uchcha Shiksha Anubhag-1 is administratively concerned with the said Ordinance.

AN
ORDINANCE
further to amend the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973.
WHEREAS the State Legislature is not in session and the Governor is satisfied
that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of
Article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to promulgate the
following Ordinance:-
Short title
1. This Ordinance may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Universities
(Amendment) Ordinance, 2024.
4 mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 19 tqykbZ] 2024 Amendment of 2. (1) In the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973 hereinafter referred to section 4 of as the "principal Act", in sub-section (1-A) of section 4,-President's Act
"(a) In clause (j), for the words and symbol "Maharaja Suhel Dev State no. 10 of 1973 as
amended and University, Azamgarh" for the words and symbol "Maharaja Suhel Dev University, re-enacted by
Azamgarh" shall be substituted.
(b) In clause (k), for the words and symbol "Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh U.P. Act no. 29 of 1974
State University, Aligarh" for the words and symbol "Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh" shall be substituted.
(c) In clause (l), for the words and symbol "Maa Pateshwari Devi State University, Balrampur" for the words and symbol "Maa Pateshwari University, Balrampur" shall be substituted.
