Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission limited, having its registered office at Plot No. 181, Ground Floor, Block -K, Mangolpuri,Delhi - 110083, intends to apply to the Government of Uttar Pradesh to confer upon it all the powers under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the placing of electric lines or electrical plant for the transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic communications necessary for the proper coordination of works which telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained, by the Government or to be so established or maintained and will undertake the survey, construction, installation, inspection, erection and other works to be followed by commissioning, operation, maintenance and other works for the following transmission schemes within the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Energy, confers under section -164 of Electricity Act, 2003 all the power on Application which telegraph authority possesses under the India Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph Lines and posts for the purposes of the telegraph established or maintain by the Government or to be so established or maintained subject to following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned intra state transmission line for transmission of electricity namely :-

1. The approval is granted for 25 Years.

2. The Applicant shall have to seek the Consent of the concerned authorities i.e. the local bodies, Railways, National Highway, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed lines.

3. The applicant shall to follow regulation/cods of the appropriate commission regarding Transmission, O&M, open access, etc.

4. The Applicant has been entrusted with the responsibility for construction of above said Lines and Substation.

5. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Chief Electrical Inspector.

6. The approval is subject to compliance by the applicant to the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there-under
