WHEREAS vide notification no. 1002/VII-Nyaya-2/06-216-77, dated September 22, 2006, Court of the second senior-most Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate posted in the district was designated as Special Court for deciding cases relating to embezzlement in Co-operative Societies constituted under the Government notification no. 804/VII-Nyaya-2-2001/216-77, dated September 28, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under section 9 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act no. 46 of 2024) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897), the Governor with the concurrence of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, is pleased to make the following amendment in the aforesaid notification,&
AMENDMENT
IN notification no. 1002/VII-Nyaya-2/2006-216-77, dated September 22, 2006 for the words "second senior most Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate", the words "Court of the second senior most Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate; and where the Court of the second second most Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate does not exist or is vacant, Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate" shall be substituted.
2. Accordingly, notification no. 1002/VII-Nyaya/2-2006-216-77, dated September 22, 2006 shall be deemed to have been amended to the aforesaid extent.
