IN exercise of the powers under clause (b) of section 32 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Act no. 35 of 2019) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897) and in partial modification of notification no. 523/84-2-2024-1771142, dated July 9, 2024 and notification no. 3/84-2-2024/Computer no. 1771142-File no. 84-2099/83-2023, dated February 26, 2024, the Governor is pleased to direct the President of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, mentioned in Column-3 of the Schedule below to exercise the powers and discharge the functions of President of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission mentioned in Column-2 of said Schedule until the post of the President, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission mentioned against each one of them in Column-2 of the said Schedule is filled up or until further orders of the Government.
