WHEREAS under sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013), the Government of Uttar Pradesh is satisfied that a total of 189.7622 Hectares of land is required in the villages- Jewar Bangar, Sadullapur urf Madalpur, Falaida Bangar, Karoli Bangar, Tirthali, Dhanpura and Mahndipur Bangur, Pargana Jewar, Tehsil Jewar, District Gautam Buddha Nagar for public purpose namely "Project of Settlement Area for Displaced Families (PAFs)" whose land has been acquired for the development of Noida International Airport Jewar Expansion Project (Phase-1, Stage-2) through Civil Aviation Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh via the Nodal Agency, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

2. Social Impact Assessment study was carried out by Gautam Buddha University,District Gautam Buddha Nagar as Social Impact Assessment agency which submitted its recommendations to the Government of Uttar Pradesh,which has approved its recommendations vide Letter No. 1589/LVI-2023- 31/2016 (Stage-2)A dated 16th October, 2024

3. The summary of the Social Impact Assessment Report is as follows:-

(a) A total land area of 189.7622 Hectares is required for the "Project of Settlement Area for Displaced Families (PAFs)" whose land has been acquired for the development of Noida International Airport Jewar Expansion Project (Phase-1, Stage-2).

(b) The Technical Committee based on land optimization has laid down 189.7622 Hectares (excluding Government land) as absolute bare minimum land requirement for the said Project.

4. No family is being displaced in the said villages due to land acquisition.

5. The Government of Uttar Pradesh vide notification no. 414/I-13-2014-7ka(8)/2014 dated 06th August, 2014 has provided that the Assistant Collector or the Deputy Collector as the case may be, of the concerned Tehsil shall be appointed as "Administrator for Rehabilitation and Resettlement" of the affected families within their respective territorial jurisdictions thereof. According to the said Notification, the Deputy Collector,Jewar, District Gautam Buddh Nagar is appointed as Administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the Project Affected Families.

6. Therefore, the Governor is pleased to accept and notify for general information that the land mentioned in the Schedule given below is needed for public purpose mentioned above.

7. The Governor is also pleased to authorize the Collector, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, for the purpose of land acquisition, to take necessary steps to enter upon, conduct survey of land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of work as provided and specified under section 12 of the aforesaid Act.

8. Under section 15 of the aforesaid Act, any person whose interest lies in the land in question may, within a period of 60 days after the publication of this notification, make an objection to the acquisition of land in the locality in writing to the Collector, District Gautam Buddha Nagar.

9. Under section 11(4) of the aforesaid Act, no person, without prior approval of the Collector, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale/purchase, specified in this notification or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette till such time as the proceedings of land acquisition are completed.

NOTE:- A site plan of the land taken up for such acquisition may be inspected in the office of the Collector, District Gautam Buddha Nagar.
