IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the Uttar Pradesh Nagar Yogna Aur Vikas (Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 2025 (Uttar Pradesh Adhyadesh Sankhya 1 of 2025) promulgated by the Governor. The Aawaas evam Shahri Niyojan Anubhag-10 is administratively concerned with the said Ordinance.

AN
ORDINANCE
further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
WHEREAS the State Legislature is not in session and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Artcile 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to promulgate the following Ordinance:-
Short title and
1. (1) This Ordinance may be called the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and commencement
Development (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 5 Qjojh] 2025 32. In section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act,
1973,–
(a) For Clause (b) of sub-section (3), the following clause shall be
substituted, namely :–
Amendment of section 2 of President's Act no. 11 of 1973 as re- enacted by U.P. Act no. 30 of 1974 "a Vice-Chairman to be appointed or authorised by the State
Government."
(b) Sub-section (4) shall be omitted.
