In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 32/2025/ 1004/XXX-3-2025 dated April 22, 2025

The following draft rules, which the Governor proposes to make, in exercise of the powers under sections 28, 38, 65, 96 and 138 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act no. 59 of 1988) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897) with view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1998, is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the aforesaid Act of 1988 for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and with a view to invite objections and suggestions in respect thereof; Objections and suggestions, if any, with respect to these draft rules should be sent in writing addressed to the Special Secretary, Transport Section-3, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Bapu Bhawan, Uttar Pradesh Secretariat, Lucknow. Only such objections and suggestions, as are received within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, shall be taken into consideration;
