THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. I/1015267/XXIII-II–2025-51(SA)-24, dated July 7, 2025 for general information.

WHEREAS the State Government is of the opinion that a new public ferry is needed on the Yamuna river at Bhaugov Sarakoriya Ghat in District Mathura; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clauses (c) and (d) of Section 4 of the Northern India Ferries Act, 1878 (Act no. 17 of 1878), the Governor is pleased to establish, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, a new public ferry on the Bhaugov Sarakoriya Ghat in District Mathura within its limits as shown in the Schedule below. Under Section 6 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is further pleased to direct that with effect from the aforesaid date, the immediate superintendence of the aforesaid public ferry at Bhaugov Sarakoriya Ghat in District Mathura shall vest in the Superintending Engineer, Agra Circle, Lok Nirman Vibhag, Agra.
