IN exercise of the powers under sub-section (2) of Section 26 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Act no. 67 of 1957), the Governor is pleased to direct that the power exercisable by the State Government under sub-section (5) of Section 21 of the aforesaid Act shall be exercisable by all District Magistrates of the State of Uttar Pradesh within their respective Jurisdiction.
