IN exercise of the powers under Section 30 of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Members' Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1980 ( U.P. Act no. 23 of 1980) read with Section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 1904) the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Members' Emoluments and Pension) Rules, 1981, namely:-
THE UTTAR PRADESH STATE LEGISLATURE (MEMBERS' EMOLUMENTS AND PENSION) (TWENTY SEVENTH AMENDMENT) RULES, 2025
Short title and commencement
1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Members' Emoluments and Pension) (Twenty-seventh Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2025.
Amendment of

2. In the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Members' Emoluments and Pension) Rules, 1981, in rule 40, for existing clause (e) set out in Column-I, the clause as set out in Column-II shall be substituted, namely:-
