IN exercise of the powers under Article 318 of the Constitution of India read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897), the Governor, is pleased to make the following regulations with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Computer Section) Service Regulations, 2009.
THE UTTAR PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (COMPUTER SECTION) SERVICE (FIRST AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2025
Short title and 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh Public Service
commencement Commission (Computer Section) service (First Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication
in the Official Gazette.
Amendment of regulation 5
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Computer Section) Service Regulations, 2009 (herein referred to as the "said regulations") in regulation 5 serial numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 shall be renumbered, as serial numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and before the post so renumbered the following serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:&
Deputy Secretary (IT)&
By Promotion through the selection committee from amongst substantively appointed system analysts who have completed seven years of service as such on the first day of the year of recruitment:
Provided that if any eligible and suitable person is not immediately available for promotion, then selection to the post of Deputy Secretary (IT) can be done only once by direct recruitment through the commission.
Amendment of regulation 8
3. In the said regulations, in regulation 8 serial numbers 1, 2, 3 shall be renumbered as serial numbers 2, 3, 4 and before the post so renumbered, the following serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely :&

M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized University/Institution with 12 years' experience in Database Management/Data Processing.

'C' level course from D.O.E./B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized University/Institution with 14 year's experience in Database Management/Data Processing.

M.C.A./M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized University/ Institution with 14 year's experience in Database Management / Data Processing.
A candidate for direct recruitment must be within following minimum and maximum age limits on the first day of July of the Calendar year in which vacancies for direct recruitment are advertised;
Amendment of regulation 10 4. In the said regulations, in regulation 10 in the table above post of System Analyst, the following post and entries relating thereto shall column-wise be inserted, namely:&
