IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Sewa Chayan Aayog (Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 2025 (Uttar Pradesh Adhyadesh Sankhya 15 of 2025) promulgated by the Governor. The Uccha Shiksha Anubhag-5 is administratively concerned with the said Ordinance.
THE UTTAR PRADESH EDUCATION SERVICE SELECTION COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2025
(U.P. ORDINANCE NO. 15 OF 2025)
[Promulgated by the Governor in the Seventy-sixth Year of the Republic of India]
AN
ORDINANCE
to amend the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission Act, 2023.
WHEREAS the State Legislature is not in session and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for her to take immediate action;
mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 18 uoEcj] 2025 3NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of
Article 213 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to promulgate the
following Ordinance:-
1. (1) This Ordinance may be called the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Short title and commencement Selection Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official
Gazette.
Amendment of 2. In sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service
Section 4 of U.P. Selection Commission Act, 2023, for clause (a), the following clause shall be
Act no. 15 of 2023 substituted, namely:-
" (a) is holding or has held the post of Principal Secretary to the State
Government or a post equivalent thereto; or"
3. (1) The State Government may, for the purpose of removing any difficulty Power to remove in respect of the provisions made by this Ordinance, by order published in the Gazette, difficulties
direct that the provisions of the principal Act shall during such period, as may be
specified in the order, have effect subject to such adaptations, whether by way of
modification, addition or omission, as it may deem necessary or expedient:
Provided that no such order shall be made after two years from the date of
commencement of this Ordinance.
(2) Every order made under sub-section (1) shall be laid before both Houses
of the State Legislature as soon as may be after it is made.
