IN exercise of the powers conferred under Regulation 38 of Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi Year Tariff for Transmission) Regulations, 2025 and Section 181 read with the Section 61 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby makes the following Regulations to amend the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi Year Tariff for Transmission) Regulations, 2025 notified vide notification no. UPERC/D(T)/JD(Transmission)/156-012, dated June 06, 2025, namely: –
1. Short title, Extent, Applicability and Commencement
(1.1) These Regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MYT for Transmission) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
(1.2) These Regulations shall come into force from April 1, 2025 and unless reviewed earlier or extended by the Commission, shall remain in force for a period of five years.
2. Amendment of Regulation 13
(2.1) In the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi Year Tariff for Transmission) Regulations, 2025, in Regulation 13, sub-regulation (7) relating to "Repairs and Maintenance Expenses" the figure "2%", wherever it occurs shall be substituted with the figure "1.5%".
